June 2, 2020 Wait...have we met Otto. Its been so long since I read through the whole comic. Goodness.
June 2, 2020 AFAIK, we last saw otto here: http://thepalecomic.com/comics/122/

He said a coyote stole his wallet.
June 4, 2020 coyotes out there stealing wallets and participating in witchcraft..
June 4, 2020 Many thanks! I forgot about him.
June 4, 2020 just picked this story yesterday and just found out its been dead for 2 years and just picked up again 2 days ago. what happened? you cant just pull people in with really decent story telling like that then disappear for 2 years....i mean ya can but who does that?
June 4, 2020 I can't tell if you're kidding or not, but I will say our archives show a steady updating output since 2017 (when we decide to start mirroring here, along with webtoons and tapas, and the tumlber/website). Our tumblr shows posting since 2015 and indicates where our slow down happened, but also shows how long I continued to post before I start posting exclusively on Comic Fury.

I switched the domain to point to CF rather than tumblr and made an announcement.-- that happened around 2 years ago.

However, here was an unplanned 6 month hiatus in the summer of 2016 because:

I lost my job. My husband and I decided to move closer to his grandparents about 150 miles away from where we were living, then we decided it would be best to move in with this grandparents to take care of them. While finding time to go to San Diego Comic Con, dealing with grandparents health, our first convention about 300 miles away-- it was a stressful, busy time. It was a hard move and busy summer, and a huge adjustment period. So we moved 2 times in 6 months. Also taking care of eldery people in their late 90's is very taxing.

We had another hiatus that lasted 5 months bc it was summer, we had comic con and our first Kickstarter to manage, while building up a buffer for the following chapter.

Life happens. And if we decided to stop working on the comic for a bit, or even decided to not continue as a free web comic, and just go digital sales or even paper sales, that's our call to make too.

We are very much active on Facebook, ComicFury, Tapas, social media, and we let people know about conventions, cancelled shows, reviews, hiatuses, online sales-- and have been for the past 5 years.

We've been here this whole time, we didn't disappear so... your comment seems a little off base to me.
October 6, 2020 Maybe they were following the comic through rss, and the url changed?
I've had that happen before thinking somebody stopped posting, but just having a new site or host and things not redirecting properly.
June 15, 2020 meh i had been drinking and was really enjoying your story telling and thought it sounded funny...sorry
