After crashing Sheriff Logan's birthday party, FBI agent Franklin Ink accompanies Deputy Dawn Knotts to the high school football game to check on a fellow deputy.

Also at the game, Wilbert reluctantly agrees to give Ronnie, another Navajo teen, a ride back to the reservation- not knowing that Ronnie is in the process of selling Nathan a gun.
