The pure whiteness of the flowers almost seems to glow against the pure black background. Because it breaks the panel, I can feel the pure evil swirling within that cigarette smoke as it drifts off-page towards me. And that shaded eye! That left eye, hidden in *both* panels! Aaaah!
June 10, 2019I am not sure if there is one tbh. Mostly (to me at least) he is obviously hiding something... he appears ominous, threatening, secretive-- if eyes are windows to the soul, this is a guy who doesn't want anyone looking.
