August 6, 2019 Oh man. Did he kill Blackburn? Leave him to die? D:
August 6, 2019 the plot thickens-- as they say!
August 6, 2019 Interesting. So unless he's using the royal "we", both he and the sheriff were involved with this Garrett Blackburn business. And Dawn was not, given that the sheriff didn't want to discuss it in front of her. Maybe it was one of those "frontier justice" situations, i.e., we did what we had to do, but it wasn't pretty. If so, I doubt either one would be blabbing about it.

So how did McHenry know? Even if he stumbled across the truck in the wilderness (and it's a BIG wilderness), how would he know how it got there or who was responsible or what condition the guy was in? He specifically accused *Joseph* of putting the *body* inside the truck. Either he's a really good guesser, or he's got some kind of eyewitness or video evidence. Which raises its own questions.

August 10, 2019 town might be small but rocket ridge + military base looks a lot like testing facility to me and a bunch of swept under the rug secrets always piled up in the war years. Mr. ink is interesting i worked AK long time and know a little bit of inupiat not an easy language to learn.

having a bunch of native languages would be very hard since most aren't from a common root like european languages. Any how thanks for the the story and caring about the art end of things as well. it looks and reads very nicely.
August 10, 2019 Aw, thanks for the comment Ernie, and welcome! Happy to know our little attention to detail is being noticed. We always try to make it feel rich and down to earth, but also with a touch of fantastic. Glad it resonates.
August 11, 2019 I am deeply reminded of that great TV show, 'Longmire', right now.
August 11, 2019 Yeah, we like Longmire too! Because of the nature of Neo Westerns, there's bound to be similarities, but I think you'll be surprised what direction we take ours :)
