San Diego Comic Con 2020 would have been our first time tabling at the event. I've wanted to table there for years, but never had anything to really show. It would have been amazing to attend this year with our book-- we are incredibly proud of it. But that's not going to happen.
But that doesn't mean SDCC is not happening.
We have a new shop with some new merch-- like mugs and posters featuring art from the covers. We still have the postcards and stickers, but we are now offering -- in limited supply -- the printed comics from Ch 1-6.
Besides Kickstarter, this is the first time we ever offered printed comics online. Conventions were the only other way to get them, so this is exciting for us! There's still bit of a learning curve to it, but I hope you stick with us while we learn the ropes.
On top of covid, this has also been a hard year for us personally but we are still hard at work on The Pale. Due to personal issues, we weren't able to finish Ch 7 in time for SDCC, but will have the PDF available for purchase.
Any future Kickstarters plans will be announced here of course. One that we are hoping to get to is a collected for Ch 1-6 trade. I am not sure when that will happen but I hope it's something you're looking forward to!
We hope you give our online booth a look, check out our store, or drop us a line.
July 21, 2020oo mmmm ggggg --- i can't remember the last time i was so excited about a WEDNESDAY.
is there a reason you're not posting links here and updating the "Store" page? i think people are going to want to know ... although you did say you're announcing it on Facebook and Twitter (i'm not on either of those). the Kickstarter mailing was a good idea, and i hope you also post here and on the Patreon. maximum exposure and all that. apologies if this seems pushy or intrusive -- i know you can handle it. i just want the best for y'all, want more people to see this.
July 21, 2020haha-- it's really bc I haven't gotten around to it :)
but also I scheduled these out-- umm, October/December? So I wasn't sure what was going to happen and at this time.
We were going to be at Comic Con -- you know physically-- but THIS YEAR HAS BEEN SORTA CRAZY.
I will be making adjustments tho since it is tomorrow!
July 21, 2020if the general populace getting access to your comics a little early is a result of ComicCon being "at home in 2020," i'll take it as a covid19 "Navajo-silver" lining. the last Kickstarter only got us through Ch.1-3, right? i'm totally stoked to grab Ch.4-6 in physical form and Ch.7 as a PDF, i'm totally there. that Coyote mug looks wicked cool too. Grandmother Spider knows i don't need any more mugs, BUT I NEED THAT MUG. thankfully there are no french bulldog mugs or i would be sunk.
July 21, 2020yeah we've only had Kickstarters for 1-3.
I didn't have time to make KS with the others-- but it's probably a good thing. The next will probably be a trade... with back issues if ppl want them.
