October 5, 2021 Yes. No. Could be? Too early to tell who they are.
(BUT) I just read an article about 22 year old Gabby Petito and how she disappeared into a void mysteriously from the reservation where she lived. The Tribal Police looked for THREE WHOLE DAYS and then gave up. Then a month later the larger Law-Enforcement Agency connected with the Federal Government began it's own investigation, which so far has produced nothing, no evidence, no arrests or suspects. This happens a lot, and it's because of the culture of men who take what they want and women who have to fend for themselves in a dangerous world where they have no rights. There are undoubtedly AGENTS there too, but do they walk around with signs telling everyone?
No.
It's a SECRET.
And it has something to do with the Tribal Existence, so this story is much more relevant to me than it was about 30 minutes ago.

October 5, 2021 It was on a news feed this morning and now it's gone... But I googled "Gabby Petito" to try and find it and just found out that her remains were discovered a few days ago. Normally I pass these things by, but it made me angry about what gets swept under the carpet.

October 5, 2021 Yes, I have that one on DVD. It's very good and especially the end, when that slime-ball gets the justice he deserves! I understand this is actually a Worldwide problem what with all the human-on-human abuses that are taken for granted as "the way things are..."

October 8, 2021 Gabby Petito was a white girl from Long Island.
Crimes on reservations are investigated almost entirely by the Feds and Prosecuted almost entirely by them because reservations COULD authorize state law enforcement to come around, but generally do not, and the feds have near exclusive authority to prosecute these crimes, and lack the resources to process them as quickly as local D.A.'s would. This isn't a racist thing, the reservation governments generally want it that way. The result is that sex crimes, generally against girls who get wasted off of dry reservation land (most members of most tribes lack certain enzymes for processing booze which causes more problems with alcohol than the general population of humans experiences - booze processing is less strongly than lactose processing but still quite strongly genetically linked to white people).
There was a recent Supreme Court case that made half of Oklahoma legally Reservation land for many law enforcement purposes and it will cause serious prosecution and investigation problems as Oklahoma resources will be diverted to re-processing people already convicted.

October 5, 2021 "Your father's actions" - does Yazzie know what mess Nate is in because of his father's actions? I bet he doesn't.

(Edit: My first thought om seeing this page was: How the heck can someone draw straight lines with very little but changing (because foreshortening) distance.)
